Job summary

Conexus Credit Union in Melville is seeking a temporary full-time Member Services Representative II to deliver everyday banking services and products to meet members’ needs at the Melville Branch. You will be the first point of contact, offering guidance and support to build strong member relationships.

The role emphasizes proactive member engagement, promoting credit union products, and referring complex queries to Financial Service Advisors as needed.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education is the minimum requirement for this position.
• Experience in sales, customer service or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identifying and responding to members’ needs to improve their financial well‑being and build rapport.
• Providing a variety of services related to the promotion and sales of cash and non-cash financial services, solutions and alternatives such as opening up memberships and deposit accounts, including terms, RRSP’s and TFSA’s.
• Promoting and offering credit union products and services and, when appropriate referring members to Financial Service Advisors to further develop relationships.
• Following internal policies, procedures and processes; all the while maintaining confidentiality.
• Identifying suspicious transactions or interactions and responding appropriately.

The bigger picture

We’re looking for a motivated team player who is member service focused to come on board as a temporary full-time Member Services Representative II (MSR II) at our Melville Branch for up to 6 months. As the first point of contact for members, you will provide everyday banking services and products to meet members’ immediate needs.

Salary range

$23.59 - $29.49 hourly
