Job summary

Conexus Credit Union in Moosomin is seeking a temporary part-time Financial Service Representative to serve as the first point of contact for members, delivering everyday banking services and tailored financial guidance. This role offers 30-35 hours per week and a contract through March 2027.

The incumbent will handle transactions, identify member needs, and support services from opening accounts to simple credit card applications, while maintaining compliance and excellent member experiences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in customer service is required.
• Experience in cash handling is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with day-to-day banking services such as bill payments, deposits, withdrawals, and more.
• Proactively identify and respond to members’ needs to help them meet their goals.
• Learn opening accounts, wire transfers, and basic credit card applications to fill gaps as needed.
• Refer members to Financial Advisors to deepen relationships.
• Adhere to policies and procedures to ensure compliance.

The bigger picture

We’re looking for an agile member-service ambassador to come on board as a temporary part-time Financial Service Representative in Moosomin! You will be the first point of contact for members and will provide them with everyday banking services and products to meet their immediate needs. As a part-time Financial Services Representative, you will work 30-35 hours per week based on business needs. This temporary contract will end March 2027.

How you’ll be spending your time

• Assisting members with day-to-day banking services such as bill payments, deposits, withdrawals and much more
• Proactively identifying and responding to members’ needs to empower members to achieve what matters to them
• Learning additional aspects of branch actions from opening accounts and wire transfers, to completing simple credit card applications - to help fill in any gaps on a day to day basis
• Uncovering opportunities to refer members to Financial Advisors to further develop and strengthen relationships
• Adhering to policies and procedures to ensure compliance within the industry

Hourly range

$22.24 - $26.16 with a 6% Short Term Incentive Target
