Job summary

Altis Technology is seeking a Member Services professional in Ottawa to support national programs across Canada. The role sits in the Finance function, focusing on group benefits, insurance and financial programs, and involves building partnerships with risk and financial service providers.

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate member insurance, financial and group benefits programs using data and metrics.
  • Prepare and distribute accurate reports translating program data into insights for stakeholders.
  • Build trusted relationships with external partners and advocate for program participants to support timely resolution of concerns.
  • Collaborate on RFPs, program criteria and bid evaluations based on project requirements.
  • Review marketing and educational materials, coordinating updates with partners and communications professionals.
  • Monitor website analytics and program engagement to recommend improvements that keep programs relevant.

Job description

Location: Ottawa, ON, Hybrid, 3 days on-site during probation, transitioning to a minimum of 8 days per month afterward
Language: Strong written and spoken English required, French is an asset
Duration: 2-year full-time term

About the Opportunity

Join a national professional association in a Member Services role focused on programs that support the professional and financial well-being of members across Canada. Working within the Finance function, youll monitor and strengthen a portfolio of group benefits, insurance and financial programs while helping ensure they continue to deliver meaningful value.

Youll work closely with the National Program Manager as part of a small, collaborative team, while building relationships with insurance providers, financial services partners and internal stakeholders. This is an opportunity for someone who combines group benefits expertise with strong communication, exceptional attention to detail and a strategic mindset.

Your Responsibilities

Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in group benefits and the insurance industry, including experience as a plan sponsor.
  • Completed post-secondary education in Business, Marketing or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong relationship-building, presentation and written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience monitoring and improving programs, services or products, combined with strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and practices, with RFP experience considered an asset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience with corporate liability programs and applying an equity, diversity and inclusion lens are assets.
