Job summary

Movati Athletic in Thunder Bay, Ontario, is seeking a dedicated Member Experience Team Supervisor to coach and motivate staff, helping members feel welcome, comfortable and healthy while driving sales performance.

You will engage with members and potential members, ensuring they receive the best experience from the moment they enter the club. You will address questions and concerns, supporting a high-quality member journey and contributing to leadership development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related customer experience and 1+ years of sales experience.
• Ability to articulate sales success and growth in past roles.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, days, afternoons and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Coach and motivate the Member Experience staff to hit sales goals and targets.
• Interact with members and potential members to ensure an outstanding club experience from entry.
• Address member questions and concerns to ensure they feel welcomed and cared for.

Acting as a delegate to the Experience Manager, you are a people-oriented supervisor who effectively coaches and motivates staff. You share your experience and knowledge to assist the team in hitting their sales goals and targets as you’re considered a solid performer because you’re able to hit your own sales goals and targets. Afterall, a team that works together, wins together!

Your typical workday will also be full of interaction and engagement with members and potential members ensuring they receive the best experience possible from the moment they walk in our doors. You do this by matching each new member’s unique needs, interests and goals with the right Club products, services and people. You are available to answer questions regarding membership, manage and resolve any concerns and ensure members and guests feel welcomed.

Annual salary range: $45,000 - $55,000 + performance-based commission eligibility

• The posting is for an existing, currently open position.

The compensation will be determined based on experience, skills set, education and training, and other organizational needs.

Qualifications

We know the experience we’re looking for can come from a wide range of industries so we’re looking for 2+ years of related customer experience and 1+ years of sales experience. Of course, we expect that when we meet, you can articulate how you have achieved sales success and delivered meaningful customer growth in your past experiences. You are also able to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, days, afternoons and weekends.
