Job summary

The National Association of Career Colleges (NACC) in Ottawa is seeking an organized, relationship-focused Manager, Membership Engagement & Events to drive member programming, events and engagement activities across Canada.

This hands-on role coordinates webinars, provincial events and national conferences, builds relationships with member colleges, and ensures flawless execution and memorable member experiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in membership engagement, association management, events, stakeholder relations or related field.
• Experience planning and delivering conferences, events, webinars or programming.
• Detail-oriented with strong organization and follow-through.
• Ability to manage several projects, deadlines and stakeholders while maintaining member experience.
• Clear, professional communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfort with independent ownership and collaboration across teams.
• Familiarity with Canva, Constant Contact, Buffer, MS Office and virtual event platforms.
• Degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution, including a regulated career college.
• Willingness to travel within Canada for conferences and activities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver member programs and engagement by turning priorities into well-executed experiences.
• Coordinate and deliver member engagement activities throughout the year.
• Gather member feedback and share insights with the NACC team.
• Track participation and engagement across programs to understand impact.
• Support outreach to prospective and renewing members as required.
• Lead planning and delivery of national conferences, coordinating speakers, registration and logistics.
• Coordinate with provincial associations for participation in conferences and events.
• Coordinate member meetings, roundtables and engagement opportunities.
• Collaborate on event promotion, branding and communications.
• Travel within Canada to support NACC events.
