Job summary

Insight Medical Imaging in Canada is seeking Medical Receptionists to join our team in Edmonton and surrounding areas. Multiple full-time vacancies exist across Float, Southside Rotating, and Rotating clinics with varying shift coverage and some vehicle allowances.

Your duties include greeting patients, updating records, importing prior exams, assisting with patient flow, and handling report requests while maintaining strict patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Greeting and checking in of all patients.
• Documentation of patient information on computer.
• Imports of previous examinations where applicable.
• Maintains professional confidentiality of patient data.
• Provides patients with exam preparations.

Job description

A leading provider of diagnostic imaging services, Insight Medical Imaging connects in a meaningful way with our patients, physicians, and employees. With over 650 employees and 20 locations, Insight provides services in Edmonton and surrounding regions, as well as in Fort McMurray.

Insight is currently seeking Medical Receptionists to join our team in the following roles, with multiple permanent, full-time vacancies available:

• Float (Coverage across all clinics in Edmonton and the surrounding area. Shift times and location are determined on the morning of each shift. A monthly vehicle allowance is provided.)
• Southside Rotating (Coverage across Millwoods, Harvest Pointe, Lendrum, Leduc, Heritage, and Windermere clinics. Shift times and location are determined ahead of time. A vehicle allowance is not provided.)
• Rotating (Coverage across all clinics in Edmonton and the surrounding area. Shift times and location are determined ahead of time. A vehicle allowance is not provided.)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greeting and checking in of all patients

• Looking up and importing previous studies prior to arrival of scheduled patients
• Must maintain the utmost in professional confidence of patient information and/or results
• Provide patients with exam preparations

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 graduate.
• Computer experience with minimum 50 words per minute
• Knowledge and understand of medical terminology are considered an asset
• Medical Office Assistant, Unit Clerk, Medical Transcription program an asset
