Job summary

North Wellington Health Care in Palmerston, Ontario, is seeking a Medical Radiation Technologist for a temporary part-time role in the Diagnostic Imaging Department.

You will apply MR knowledge to deliver high-quality patient imaging, mentor students on placements, and collaborate with a unionized team within the Wellington Health Care Alliance.

This position requires CMRITO designation, CAMRT membership, and commitment to teamwork, safety, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• CMRITO designation required; CAMRT membership preferred.

MEDICAL RADIATION TECHNOLOGIST

(TEMPORARY PART TIME)

One (1) temporary part time Medical Radiation Technologist position is available in the Diagnostic Imaging Department at Palmerston & District Hospital.

This position is unionized with OPSEU.

REQUIREMENTS:

• CMRITO Designation
• Membership with CAMRT
• OAMRT (asset to have)
• Demonstrated ability to work responsibly in a team environment
• Demonstrated effective communication, organization and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Satisfactory performance and attendance required
• Satisfactory Reference Checks required prior to start date
• Must provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check

HOURS OF WORK:

• As per department schedule
• Must be available for all shifts

SALARY:

$36.84 -$50.24 per hour
