Qualifications

  • Graduate of a recognized radiography education program.
  • Registered with CMRITO in good standing.
  • Completion of a Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) program.
  • CAMRT membership preferred.
  • Experience or willingness to train in Interventional Radiology.

Responsibilities

  • Perform General Radiography and Interventional Radiology examinations as prescribed by physicians.
  • Maintain a strong team environment among technologists, nursing staff, radiologists and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrate clinical competency in General and Interventional Radiology.
  • Deliver high-quality, safe patient care.
  • Assist in evaluation of students from affiliated education programs as needed.

RVH is seeking a MEDICAL RADIATION TECHNOLOGIST – MRT(R) to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our program, you will play a crucial role in all aspects of General and Interventional Radiology. Medical Imaging at RVH offers an expansive range of Radiography imaging programs including General Radiography, Fluoroscopy, Computed Tomography, Breast Imaging and Interventional Radiology. As the hub of our region, we provide a high level of complex imaging across all modalities including high risk OBSP, advanced cardiac and acute stroke CT imaging, life changing embolization and thrombolysis interventional procedures, and cutting-edge treatments such as Trans arterial Radioembolization. Qualifications
  • Graduate of a recognized, accredited Radiography education program.
  • Registered in good standing with College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
  • Completion of a Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) program.
  • Membership with Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) preferred.
  • Experience or willingness to train in Interventional Radiology.
