Job summary

The North Shore Health Network is seeking a Medical Radiation Technologist for the Blind River site to perform technical radiography exams in line with department standards and patient safety requirements.

You will rotate between Ultrasound and X-Ray, participate in QA activities, and support high-quality care in a rural setting with weekend/on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Mandatory radiography program completion.
• Registered and in good standing with CMRITO.
• Proof of valid liability insurance is required.

Responsibilities

• Effectively perform technical examination according to department and governing standards.
• Make clinical decisions and exercise judgement to ensure department protocol and patient safety are not compromised.
• Participate in departmental Quality Assurance programs and be knowledgeable in the utilization and care of department equipment.
• Participate with week-end and on call rotation.
• Rotates through Ultrasound & X-Ray.
