Job summary

BayCare is seeking a Medical Office Rep to provide exceptional service in a busy medical setting. You will greet patients, collect information, schedule appointments, and assist with inquiries while supporting the physician's office health care team.

The role includes handling billing questions, arranging procedures as needed, and coordinating with referral doctors. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with healthcare or front desk experience highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of healthcare experience or 6 months of customer service experience.
• Medical front desk experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets and signs in patients.
• Obtains patient information.
• Schedules patient appointments.
• Assists with patient inquiries.
• May arrange for other procedures.
• Laboratory and consultations with referral doctors.
• Collects and posts payments; assists patients with billing questions.
• Ensures completeness of encounter form prior to patient checkout.
• Sorts and distributes mail; copies medical records.

• Status: Full Time (non-exempt)
• Shift: Mon - Fri 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
