Fraser Valley Cataract & Laser (FVCL) in British Columbia is hiring a full-time Ophthalmic Assistant to support our busy ophthalmology clinic in Abbotsford and Chilliwack.

You will greet patients, schedule appointments, handle billing, assist physicians, and support diagnostic testing using the Accuro EMR system. Training is provided; mid-level experience preferred, with flexibility to work between locations. Excellent teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Employment Type: Full Time - Must be willing to work in Abbotsford and Chilliwack.
Compensation: $19–$23 per hour

Fraser Valley Cataract & Laser (FVCL) is a growing ophthalmology clinic and surgical centre specializing in eye disease and surgery. Our team of ophthalmologists provides a wide range of services, including MSP-covered examinations and surgeries, as well as private lens surgery and LASIK.

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our team in a full-time position in abbotsford and chilliwack.

Schedule & Location

• Must be willing to work between our Chilliwack and Abbotsford locations
• Training will primarily take place in Abbotsford.
  

Key Duties

Ophthalmic Assistant Experience — Asset

Experience with the following is an asset, but training will be provided for the right candidate:

• Visual field testing
• OCT imaging
• Auto-refraction
• Non-contact tonometry
• Patient workups

If you do not have direct ophthalmology experience, a strong work ethic, positive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to learn quickly are essential.
