Job summary

I R I S is a well-established eye care clinic in Chilliwack seeking a part-time Optometric Assistant to support daily operations. You will welcome patients, assist with pre-testing and intake, and help doctors and opticians with clinic flow. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Ideal applicants are friendly, reliable, patient-focused, and comfortable with computers. The role offers 2-3 days per week, including Saturdays, with competitive hourly pay and staff perks.

Qualifications

• Friendly, reliable, patient-focused and eager to learn.
• Previous clinic, optical, or medical office experience is a bonus but we will train the right person.
• Comfortable with computers.

What You'll Do

Welcome patients, help with pre-testing and intake, assist doctors and opticians with clinic flow, contact lens teaching, and general support to keep the day running smoothly.

Who You Are

Schedule: Part-time [e.g. 2-3 days/week including Saturdays - flexible]
