Job summary

Air Liquide Home Healthcare Canada is seeking a Medical Office Administrator (Branch Care Coordinator) to support patient-focused care at our Dartmouth, NS location.

You''ll handle general inquiries, assist with sales and inventory of respiratory products, schedule appointments, support funding/insurance questions, and help manage documentation and equipment records in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of administrative experience (clinical or healthcare setting preferred)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, with strong data entry skills
  • Ability to quickly learn/adapt to new ERP and CRM systems
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with heavy workload
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional, compassionate, positive, motivated and flexible

Responsibilities

  • Provides helpful, friendly service to customers by providing general information, and directing telephone and walk-in inquiries to appropriate staff members
  • Assist with sales and maintenance of respiratory products, services, and inventory for the branch
  • Provides information/literature to prospective clients
  • Creates walk-in appointments for therapeutics and books follow-up appointments for the branch
  • Provides assistance and answers questions for clients regarding funding programs and insurance requirements
  • Assists healthcare professionals with the completion of necessary administrative functions and documentation
  • Assists in the management of equipment - warranty, maintenance and repair for internal assets and customer-owned devices
  • May perform the role of quality control designate and complete GMP-related tasks for handling medical gases

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
  • Provides helpful, friendly service to customers by providing general information, and directing telephone and walk-in inquiries to appropriate staff members.

  • Assists healthcare professionals with the completion of necessary administrative functions and documentations.
  • Assists in the management of equipment - including warranty, maintenance and repair for internal assets, as well as customer owned medical devices and other products.
  • You may be required to perform the role of quality control designate or alternate and complete tasks related to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for the handling of medical gases, such as the review and sign off of quality records. All necessary training for this role is referenced in Quality Designate Training Matrix, HRM-0003, and must be completed prior to performing the activities.

  • 1-2 years of administrative experience (clinical or healthcare setting is preferred)
  • Tech savvy and experience with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, with strong data entry skills
  • Ability to quickly learn/adapt to new ERP and CRM systems
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while balancing a heavy workload
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
