Inventory Coordinator- Permanent Full-Time

Location: On-Site | 500 4601 Canada Way, Burnaby, BC V5G 4X7
Schedule: Monday to Friday | Office Hours- 30 hours, 4 days a week

We are currently seeking a Medical Inventory Coordinator to support our mission of delivering world-class fertility care. In this permanent, full-time role (30 hours/week, no weekends or holidays), you’ll be vital in maintaining the medical supply chain that keeps our clinical care exceptional.

Your Role & Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the timely ordering and delivery of medical supplies to meet operational needs
  • Maintain and update medical inventory databases and perform regular stock counts
  • Prepare and submit invoices promptly for vendor payment approvals
  • Serve as the central contact for medical supply management inquiries and issue resolution
  • Support leadership by tracking supply initiatives aligned with safety priorities
  • Assist in implementing standardized inventory management tools and processes
  • Share accurate and timely information with leadership and key stakeholders
  • Maintain internal communication platforms, including websites, SharePoint, and shared drives
  • Communicate the medical inventory updates to employees and contractors
  • Track and manage budget data related to medical supplies and equipment
  • Analyze requirements and support the preparation of budget submissions
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives by recommending and implementing process enhancements

What You Bring to the Team

Education and/or Experience:

  • Diploma in health or business administration, supply chain management, project management, or a related field.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of recent, related experience in a medical supply chain or healthcare environment.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong understanding of organizational policies, regulations, and procedures related to patient care
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within interdisciplinary clinical teams
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, especially when addressing complex matters
  • Skilled in presenting and interpreting information to a variety of stakeholders, including patients, families, physicians, and staff
  • Proficient in the use of office equipment and software, including electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data, identify issues, and implement solutions
  • Capable of interpreting various types of instructions and managing both abstract and concrete information
