Randstad Canada is seeking a hands-on Production Engineer to join our North York team for a 12-month contract with strong potential to become permanent. You will support the manufacture of advanced medical imaging equipment from assembly and testing to troubleshooting and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include system assembly, testing, calibration, documentation, and ECO support, with a focus on ISO 13485 compliance and cross-functional collaboration with engineers, operations, and

Competenze

• Experience with assembling, testing and troubleshooting complex electro-mechanical systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics and technical docs.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 or similar QMS is preferred.

Mansioni

• Assemble, integrate, and test medical imaging systems and subassemblies, incl. optical, mechanical, electronic components.
• Perform system calibration, verification, and final testing.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, optical, and system-level issues in production and servicing.
• Maintain BOMs, assembly instructions, and production documents; assist ECOs.
• Ensure work complies with ISO 13485 and manufacturing procedures.
• Support root cause investigations, CAPA, and continuous improvement.
• Install and configure embedded software and system applications; support refurbishment of units.
