GardaWorld is seeking a Medical Centre Security Guard for temporary coverage in a hospital setting. The role emphasizes vigilance, de-escalation, and patrolling to ensure safety.

Ideal candidates are authorized to work in Canada, hold a Manitoba security license, and can commit to a 1 week on / 1 week off schedule (8 AM–8 PM). GardaWorld offers training, career growth, and a uniform provided.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a Manitoba security license.
• First aid certification is an asset.
• Ability to stand and walk entire shift.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in the security industry preferred.
• Tactical experience is an asset.
• Customer service oriented.
• Leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Respond to code events.
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.

As a Medical Centre Security Guard in a Hospital setting , physical ability and ability to De- escalate situation is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling and de-escalate situations in a Hospital environment

• Position: 1 weeks on / 1 weeks off ( 8 Am to 8 Pm)
