Under the general supervision of the Manager of Health Services and Supervisor, Medical Device Reprocessing (MDR), and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital, the MDR (Medical Device Reprocessing) Tech., is responsible for assisting with functions related to reprocessing reusable devices and equipment for patient/client use and care, which includes transporting such devices to and from areas throughout the hospitals; preparing devices / trays / equipment / supplies for ward, surgical and clinical procedures; restocking supplies; performing various cleaning duties; documenting, reviewing and maintaining records; and performing other related duties as assigned. The position’s work locations are MDR-Main, MDR OR and MDR - Endoscopy.
