Job summary

Pasqua Hospital in Regina is seeking a part-time Medical Device Reprocessing Technician to join the Medical Device Reprocessing department. The role supports OR operations by ensuring instruments and implants are clean, sterilized and ready for procedures.

Expected Start Date: Oct 31, 2026. End date: July 31, 2027. 0.63 FTE with Days/Nights/Evenings/Weekends/Stats; pay band 11, CAD 22.60–24.21 per hour; CUPE union; extended shift hours apply.

Qualifications

• One year working in a Medical Device Reprocessing department.
• Certification in Medical Device Reprocessing technician preferred.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical expertise and liaises with the Operating Rooms (OR).
• Inspects, cleans, assembles, tests and sterilizes surgical instruments/equipment.
• Orders and maintains implant inventory for surgical services.

Job Description: Provides technical expertise and acts as a liaison with the Operating Rooms (OR). Inspects, cleans, assembles, tests and sterilizes surgical instruments/ implants/equipment for surgeries. Orders and maintains implant inventory for surgical services.
