Job summary

The Saskatchewan Health Authority invites applications for a Casual Medical Device Reprocessing Technician at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon. You will provide technical expertise, liaise with the Operating Rooms, and ensure instruments and implants are cleaned, assembled, tested and sterilized for surgeries.

Experience in a Medical Device Reprocessing department is preferred; education includes a Medical Device Reprocessing Technician certificate.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning techniques, handling/assembly/disassembly of instruments/equipment.
• Minimum of 1 year working in a Medical Device Reprocessing department to learn proper procedures.
• Medical Device Reprocessing Technician – Certificate of Achievement.

Responsibilities
