Job summary

Petal in Canada is seeking a meticulous medical billing professional to ensure physicians are fairly compensated and claims are processed accurately. You will review and code clinical data, submit electronic and paper claims, and resolve discrepancies in remittance advice, while maintaining precise documentation in billing systems.

Ideal candidates bring experience in medical billing or administration, strong communication, and the ability to work independently in a structured, detail-oriented

Qualifications

• Experience in medical billing or medical administration is preferred.
• Ability to manage high volumes with accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter and review medical billing claims with accuracy.
• Apply diagnostic and procedure codes following guidelines.
• Process electronic and paper claim submissions.
• Review remittance advice to identify discrepancies or denials.
• Make corrections or adjustments to claims when needed.
• Support claim reconciliation to ensure completeness and accuracy.

In this role, you will:
