Job summary

Brightshores is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical department located in Southampton. This full-time, temporary role (end date March 2027) involves promoting health, assessing and treating health conditions, and providing compassionate patient-centered care to ensure optimal function.

Requirements include current RN registration (Ontario) or eligibility, ability to interpret basic arrhythmias, and willingness to work in Emergency as required.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario or eligibility.
• Ability to interpret basic arrhythmias.
• Ability and willingness to work in Emergency as required.
• Certification in ACLS, BCLS, CCU I or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Promote health and assess, provide care and treat health conditions to attain or maintain optimal function.
• Promote patient safety and contribute to unit quality improvement.
