Qualifications

• Ontario College of Nurses registration is required.
• BCLS certification or willingness to obtain.
• Two years acute care nursing experience.
• CTAS knowledge or willingness to obtain.
• CCU 1 or willingness to obtain within six months.
• Code White (CPI) or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to work at full scope in fast-paced Emergency department.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Emergency department within scope of practice.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for patient care.
• Contribute to patient safety and continuous education.
• Demonstrate competence in ECG, IV therapy, wound care, and IV starts.
