Orica is seeking a Mechanical Technician - Underground based in Red Chris, BC, Canada. The role focuses on managing and maintaining site equipment while adhering to SHES standards and Orica quality programs.
You will support safe bulk explosive delivery, with a schedule of 14 days on/off and Fly in/Fly out. Requires BC underground blaster certificate, 3+ years in underground bulk emulsion tech, strong mechanical aptitude, and inventory management experience.

We are posting for a new opportunity for a Technician Field Support within our Orica Canada team based in Red Chris, British Columbia, Canada.
Flights provided fromSmithers, Kelowna, Vancouver and Calgary.
The objective of this position is to manage and maintain the Orica site and ancillary equipment operation in accordance with the service level agreement, corporate and regulatory standards. The incumbent will be responsible for the implementation of the Orica Safety, Health, Environment, and Security (SHES) requirements, as well as complete adoption of Orica Quality programs. Also to assist in always providing a quality service of bulk explosive delivery to customers in a safe and environmentally conscious manner.
