Mechanical Technician, Electrician | Millwright - Calgary Airport

The Maintenance Electrician or Millwright will be responsible for electrical and maintenance work, performing tasks under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor or Residential Site Manager. Must be able to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities:

1. Recover electrical errors on the material handling system.
2. Reset errors caused by luggage, equipment, or operators.
3. Assist engineers with fault finding and maintenance activities.
4. Perform maintenance activities as required.
5. Support activities involving BEUMER Group products and systems to meet customer requirements.
6. Monitor the performance of the material handling system.
7. Adhere to quality and reporting systems.
8. Follow all health and safety protocols.
9. Provide feedback and intelligence to BEUMER Group management.
10. Report on spare parts usage.
11. Follow escalation procedures when necessary.

Skills, Experience, and Authorizations Required:

1. Journeyman Electrician or Millwright certification preferred.
2. Experience working with material handling equipment.
3. RAIC Security Clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain it.
4. Employment contingent upon obtaining airport security clearance.
5. Understanding of strategy, values, and relevant system knowledge.
6. Knowledge of system flow, high-level control (SAC), and IT network and communication systems.
7. Strong analytical and developmental skills.
