Job Description

The Maintenance Electrician or Millwright will be responsible for electrical and maintenance work, performed under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor or Residential Site Manager. Must be able to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Recover electrical errors on the material handling system
• Reset errors caused by luggage, equipment, or operators
• Assist engineers with fault finding and maintenance activities
• Carry out maintenance activities
• Support activities with BEUMER Group products and systems in response to customer requirements
• Monitor the performance of the material handling system
• Adhere to quality and reporting systems
• Follow health and safety requirements
• Provide feedback and intelligence to management
• Report spare parts usage
• Follow escalation procedures as needed

Qualifications

Skills/Experience/Authorizations Required:

• Journeyman Electrician or Millwright preferred
• Experience with material handling equipment
• RAIC Security Clearance or ability to obtain it
• Ability to obtain and maintain airport security clearance
• Strong understanding of system flow, high-level control (SAC), software documentation, and IT networks
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Relevant system and product knowledge
• Objective analysis and development skills
