Job summary

Dryden Fibre Canada seeks a Mechanical Reliability Engineer to identify and manage reliability risks impacting plant operations. You will lead reliability programs, assess assets, and drive improvements in maintenance strategies.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree, strong analytical skills, and experience with maintenance software such as SAP and Maintelligence. AutoCAD knowledge is a plus, and a safety-first mindset is essential.

Qualifications

Mechanical Engineering degree required.
Experience in an industrial setting and/or pulp and paper asset management is an asset.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
Interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team environment.
Safety-oriented mindset with adherence to mill safety and environmental policies.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain criticality scoring for all mill assets.
Facilitate FMEA on critical and troubled assets.
Develop and maintain asset maintenance strategies and rebuild standards.
Determine effective predictive, preventive, and essential care actions.
Monitor outputs from the asset care program and take action.
Maintain knowledge of predictive technologies and improve site utilization.
Specify and initiate engineering solutions for optimal equipment function.
Apply RCFA and develop root-cause solutions.
Provide maintenance and reliability oversight for new installations and modifications.
