ABB in Canada is seeking a project engineer to act as the responsible engineer for mechanical systems on mine hoist projects in the Americas. You will deliver technical details, costs and deliverables, and provide on-site supervision during installation and commissioning.
Reporting to Engineering manager, you will review designs, prepare proposals, and ensure safety and quality guidelines across Canada, the United States, Mexico and South America.

Working as a project engineer, you will act as the responsible engineer for mechanical systems for mine hoist projects in the Process Industries Business in the Americas, providing technical details, costs and deliverables for projects.
Reporting to the Engineering manager, you will make technical recommendations in various phases of underground mining projects top ensure successful execution of project deliverables on time, within budget and in line with the quality and safety guidelines.
Hiring open to all locations in Canada and the USA, working either remote, hybrid or office. Ideal locations are: Saskatchewan, BC, Alberta, Ontario, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, Milwaukee, Michigan and Ohio.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $89,400 and $131,120 annually and is bonus eligible.
