Job summary

Multiwide Mechanical Contractors Ltd in Vaughan seeks a Mechanical Plumbing Project Coordinator to join our in-office team. The role requires 2–3 years in mechanical/plumbing construction and emphasizes coordinating with project managers, foremen, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

You will review drawings, prepare quotations, change orders, and submittals, and manage procurement.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience as a Project Coordinator in the mechanical/plumbing construction industry.
• Strong understanding of residential mechanical plumbing construction processes.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Experience preparing quotations, change orders, purchase orders, and project submittals.
• Familiarity with reviewing shop drawings.
• Experience obtaining supplier pricing and coordinating procurement.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities between subcontractors, site foremen, internal teams, and general contractors/builders.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with all project stakeholders.
• Prepare and issue project quotations and assist with tender pricing.
• Review mechanical plumbing drawings to identify project requirements.
• Prepare and process change orders and purchase orders.
• Obtain pricing and quotations from suppliers and vendors.
• Review shop drawings for accuracy and coordinate approvals.
• Prepare and submit project submittals in accordance with project specifications.
• Assist with project documentation, scheduling, and tracking deliverables.
• Maintain organized project files and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date.
• Support project managers with day-to-day project coordination and administrative tasks.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Mechanical Plumbing Project Coordinator to join our growing team.
