Job summary

Garant Machinerie Inc. is seeking an Electromechanical Maintenance Technician to join its service team. This presential day role involves installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing industrial equipment, with travel to client sites within a 250 km radius around Lévis.

The successful candidate will have a DEP in electromechanics or equivalent, at least two years' experience, be fluent in French and English, and hold a valid driver's license with willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• DEP in electromechanics or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role; manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of mechanics, electricity and automation.
• Excellent ability to analyze problems and find solutions quickly.
• Autonomy, rigor, organizational skills and team spirit.
• Fluent in French and English (spoken and written).
• Valid driver\'s license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on laser cutters, press brakes, CNC benders, shears, rollers, benders and saws.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues and propose lasting solutions.
• Install, commission and troubleshoot equipment at customer sites.
• Travel within a radius of approximately 250 km around Lévis for interventions.
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement of equipment and working methods.
• Operate in compliance with health and safety standards.

• Perform installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of equipment directly at customer sites.
• You will be required to travel within a radius of approximately 250 km around Lévis to carry out technical interventions.
