Job summary

Tenaris is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, Canada. You will develop and supervise the Preventive Maintenance plan, analyze equipment performance, and define corrective actions while supporting engineering in equipment startup and selection.

The role requires 3+ years in industrial maintenance, 5+ years in manufacturing, and post-secondary education in Mechanical Trade or Engineering. On-site in a steel mill with a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in industrial maintenance or hands-on engineering tech is an asset.
• 5+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings; familiarity with safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and supervise the Preventive Maintenance plan.
• Analyze failure, problem and performance of equipment; define corrective actions.
• Support Engineering in evaluating best equipment and startups of new pieces.
• Maintain presence on the floor; lead hands-on technical support and supervise staff.
• Draw up and manage maintenance budget; control costs.
