Job summary

Tenaris is seeking an Electrical Patrol Supervisor in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada, to lead maintenance teams and ensure safe, reliable operation of our manufacturing processes.

The role combines hands-on technical support with strong leadership and adherence to HSE standards. You will manage shift activities, coordinate schedules, and drive preventive and corrective maintenance actions, with a focus on equipment reliability and availability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in industrial maintenance, trades work or hands-on engineering technician is an asset.
• 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Post-secondary education in Electrical Trade (442a preferred) or relevant technician diploma/certification.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with manufacturing environment safety procedures.
• Previous experience with PLC, VFD, sensors and High Frequency heating equipment considered an asset.
• Previous experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, motors, etc. considered an asset.
• Previous experience with SAP considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• As Electrical Patrol Supervisor, you will lead maintenance teams to ensure the smooth and safe operation of our manufacturing processes.
• Hands-on technical support, team leadership, and the implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance actions.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety and environment standards and procedures.
• Lead and coordinate shift activities, manage schedules and safe work practices.
• Maintain maintenance information systems and documentations for area.
• Support Base Maintenance Supervisors in preventive tasks and failure analyses.
