Job summary

Liburdi Dimetrics Corporation in Hamilton, Canada is seeking a full-time Mechanical Engineer to manage machine development from concept through CAD design, documentation, testing and cross-functional coordination with clients and vendors.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree or related diploma, 2–3 years of machine design experience, and proficiency with Solid Edge. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with Equal opportunity employer.

Job Description

We are currently seeking a candidate for the role of full-time Mechanical Engineering to manage machine development from initial concept through CAD design, technical documentation, functional testing, and cross-functional coordination with clients and vendors. The hours will typically be in the office Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Base salary:$65,000 - $75,000 / year

Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to):

• Development of machine design from concept to detail
  
• Review of the design interaction with other machines and tools in a complex system
  
• Review of design compliance to technical specifications and requirements
  
• Development of technical documents such as drawings, test procedures and manuals
