Job summary

Qualifications

• 1-5 years experience in tooling and mechanical equipment preferred (Co-op accepted).
• Mechanical Technologist diploma is required.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and bills of materials required.
• Knowledge of quality control tools required.
• Experience building and soldering wire assemblies is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Build products following established shop practices, mechanical drawings, and written or verbal instructions.
• Assemble and perform testing on precision electro-mechanical prototypes and high-reliability products.
• Carry out maintenance and repairs on production equipment.
• Contribute feedback on design requirements and technical drawings.
• Assist in developing specifications and procedural documentation.
• Take responsibility for mechanical aspects of system and tooling construction.
• Support the commissioning process for both prototype and production machinery.
• Ensure a clean and safe workspace in accordance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Job Description

We are currently seeking full-time Mechanical Technologists to support the build, testing, and development of precision electro-mechanical systems. Key Experience/Education:
