Mechanical Engineer

Beyond Energy Services & Technology is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The role involves designing surface and downhole equipment, developing and maintaining Rotating Control Devices and Managed Pressure Drilling products. Responsibilities include designing mechanical assemblies and parts, creating drawings and technical reports, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Execute design and documentation of product lines independently.
2. Improve existing and develop new product lines.
3. Produce models and drawings throughout the product design stages.
4. Design mechanical assemblies for surface pressure control equipment.
5. Complete drawings, technical analyses, and documentation.
6. Support technicians with assembly and testing of prototypes.
7. Create procedures and policies for manufacturing support.
8. Troubleshoot and improve existing equipment.
9. Mentor junior personnel and advise other departments.
10. Stay updated with new technologies and incorporate innovations.
11. Review and approve manufacturing drawings and analyses.
12. Recommend process improvements and efficiencies.
13. Ensure adherence to safety, technical, and commercial standards.
14. Identify opportunities to reduce waste and costs.
15. Participate in training and safety meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant design experience.
• P.Eng. registration with APEGA or ability to obtain it quickly.
• Knowledge of drilling and/or servicing equipment.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D CAD software.
