Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Mechanical Drafter/Designer to join the Buildings team in Dartmouth, NS. The role focuses on developing contract drawings and schematics for multi-discipline projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection concepts, using REVIT and AutoCAD.

You will collaborate with Lead Designers and engineers, ensure quality control, and produce as-built drawings from site information and 3D scans. Strong communication and time management are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology or Mechanical Engineering Technology required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare contract drawings, schematics, schedules, details, and sketches from conceptual design through to construction.
