Job summary

Pack-Smart Inc. in Concord, Canada is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for a contract/full-time role to lead the conceptual design and development of fast, precise automation systems.

You will work on servo systems, pneumatics, GD&T, and SolidWorks in a collaborative engineering environment. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of mechanical design experience, a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, and strong skills in SolidWorks and PDM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years of mechanical design experience in high-speed automation or custom machine building.
• Strong understanding of servo systems, pneumatics, mechanical motion systems, GD&T, manufacturing and machining practices.
• Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks and experience with PDM/document control systems.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a passion for innovation and technology.
