With 3+ years in automation and SolidWorks proficiency, you will work closely with electrical designers and the manufacturing team to ensure feasible, safe, and reliable equipment, from concept through commissioning.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct hands-on work in automation design or special purpose equipment.
• Experience with robotic cells and assembly systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of machine shop techniques is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems for robots, assembly lines, and production gauges.
• Analyze drawings and specs to determine shapes, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Perform calculations related to strength, speed, horsepower, temperature, pressure, and force.
• Ensure designs comply with safety and customer standards.
• Collaborate with electrical designers and project teams; prepare BOMs and drawings.
