Job summary

Stantec in Windsor, ON seeks an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to design and execute projects across civic, industrial, healthcare, commercial and educational sectors. You will mentor junior staff, coordinate with multiple offices, and ensure client satisfaction and project quality. The role requires a P.Eng.

in Ontario (or eligible) with minimum 5 years of consult­ing experience, strong AutoCAD/Revit skills, and knowledge of codes. Travel within Canada may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration in Ontario; Quebec license asset.
• Minimum 5 years of consulting engineering experience in buildings.
• Experience with municipal, provincial, federal, industrial, healthcare, commercial and educational clients.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Knowledge of national and provincial building codes and standards.
• Good organization, coordination, and project management skills.
• Strong English writing and verbal skills; French asset.
• Eligible for PSPC Secret Clearance; existing clearance asset.
• Current driver's license; ability to travel within Canada.

Responsibilities

• Design building mechanical systems (HVAC, Hydronics, Plumbing, Fire Protection).
• Prepare detailed engineering design calculations and construction drawings.
• Produce RevIT MEP and AutoCAD drawings and review submittals.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with offices and disciplines.
• Ensure project quality and adhere to guidelines and standards.
• Communicate with team members and manage project timelines.
