Alstom in Toronto, ON, Canada is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to the design and overhaul of rolling stock and rail systems, meeting customer specifications and operational requirements. You’ll make a tangible impact by contributing to the design and overhaul of rolling stock and rail systems, ensuring they meet customer specifications and operational requirements. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams across the business (such as Operations, Maintenance, and Parts Obsolescence), prepare technical scopes of work, and support production teams and customers, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of developing 3D models, design annotations, and Bill of Materials, but also conducting engineering studies and ensuring design quality.

The expected compensation for this role is $85,000 – $110,000 CADper year, plus benefits and eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
