Job summary

Pro-Western Mechanical is seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator to support schedules, documentation, and project meetings for residential and light commercial construction projects in Saskatoon. The role requires coordination with project teams and adherence to contract processes.

Ideal candidates hold a post-secondary degree in Construction Management or related field, with a PMP considered an asset, and possess strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in project coordination or execution.
• Post-secondary education in Construction Management or related field; PMP certification is an asset.
• Familiarity with construction contract documents and project processes.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with project teams.
• Criminal records check required prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Support provincial and local permitting and licensing requirements.
• Facilitate use of project databases and document management systems.
• Maintain internal project schedules under the direction of the Project Manager.
• Schedule and coordinate project meetings including kickoff and closeout meetings.
• Maintain project documentation including turnover documents, change management records, RFIs, shop drawings, and change orders.
• Assist Project Managers in compiling O&M manuals.
• Support internal project check-point deadlines and tracking of field assets.
• Perform other duties as required.
