Job summary

MCW Group of Companies in Moncton, NB, is seeking a Mechanical Construction Administrator to manage mechanical projects during construction. You will attend site meetings, review drawings, and coordinate with architects, clients, and contractors.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to handle 20–30 projects concurrently. The position offers salary between 75,000 and 100,000 CAD, with full-time hours and in-office work based in Moncton.

Qualifications

• Educational or trade background in mechanical construction design practices.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, air balancing and fire systems.
• Experience reading construction drawings and documents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Attend project site meetings as scheduled.
• Travel to site for field reviews on mechanical installations.
• Serve as main point of contact for the builder on project-related questions.
• Review contractor drawings and shop submittals for conformance.
• Prepare and sign off on site deficiency reports and as-built docs.
• Coordinate change orders and milestone reporting.
• Provide customer service levels meeting or exceeding expectations.
• Manage 20–30 projects concurrently.
