Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Job Description

The role involves the mechanical assembly of Zinc batteries, encompassing various stages of battery completion. This position focuses on the mechanical aspect but also includes other types of assembly and subassembly tasks. Candidates will receive training on working with epoxy and acrylic materials, guided by expert trainers. The use of hand and power tools is essential, and workers must follow blueprints to ensure accurate assembly. Physical tasks such as lifting up to 25lbs may occur. Collaboration with coworkers and leading the team are vital aspects of this role.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly of Zinc batteries.
• Engage in various stages of battery completion, including subassembly tasks.
• Learn and apply skills in working with epoxy and acrylic materials.
• Utilize hand and power tools for assembly processes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mississauga, Ontario.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
