We are looking for a Large Equipment Mechanic for the Joliette branch.

Under the leadership of the workshop supervisor, the incumbent performs the repair, maintenance, and inspection of large equipment.

Description

Without being exhaustive and subject to change (in the latter case, upon notice from the employer), the description of the main duties of the Large Equipment Mechanic is as follows:

• Perform repairs on large equipment (basket, forklift, etc.);
• Diagnose the condition of equipment and, if necessary, make recommendations to their superior;
• Contribute to the training of other staff members regarding equipment operation and repair;
• All other related tasks.
  
  

Key Skills Required

• Diploma in agricultural, construction, or heavy equipment mechanics;
• Basket and aerial work platform certification (an asset);
• Knowledge of engines and hydraulics;
• Relevant experience as a heavy-duty mechanic.
