We are looking for a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic at EDF Plus. You will be a key expert responsible for the maintenance and repair of our buses and heavy trucks. Your role will be to ensure the safety, performance, and compliance of our vehicle fleet, an essential link in our logistical and operational chain.

Responsabilites
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on buses and heavy trucks (engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, electrical systems, etc.)
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex failures in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic systems of heavy vehicles
- Conduct periodic safety inspections, brake checks, and general mechanical maintenance
- Ensure cleaning, lubrication, and routine upkeep of vehicles
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and document all maintenance interventions
- Strictly comply with occupational health and safety (OHS) standards and current road regulations
Required Skills
- Vocational diploma in heavy truck mechanics, heavy equipment mechanics, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years proven experience in inspecting and maintaining buses and heavy trucks
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficiency in advanced diagnostics, diesel engines, transmission systems, pneumatic braking systems, and electrical/electronic systems of heavy vehicles
- Skilled in using specialized diagnostic tools
Nice to Have
- Red Seal certification
- Additional language skills
- Certification in pneumatic braking systems
- Experience with hybrid or electric vehicles
- Knowledge of emissions standards and exhaust after-treatment systems
