Job description

Armour is currently hiring a Licensed or Apprentice Mechanic and Reefer or Trailer Technician in Moncton, New Brunswick.

What You’ll Do And Need

Licensed Mechanic

1. As an Advanced Licensed/MasterTech mechanic you will service and maintain our transport fleet of equipment.
2. Previous experience as a leader and support for apprentices and journeyman with strong diagnostic skills.
3. Work in a Team Environment: A fun, fast-paced, and supportive company culture.

Apprentice Mechanic

1. As an Apprentice, you will assist with the maintenance of our transport fleet of equipment.
2. Work in a Team Environment: A fun, fast-paced, and supportive company culture.

Reefer Technician

1. Minimum of 5 years experience in transport and refrigeration required.
2. Background working on Carrier Reefers an asset.
3. Ability to work independently.
4. Able to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair truck and trailer refrigeration units.

Trailer Technician

1. Performs preventative and scheduled maintenance on equipment.
2. Troubleshoot and repair equipment to manufacturers’ specs.
3. Write explanations of work performed, review work orders.
4. Charge out all parts used for the specific task.
5. Licensed Commercial Trailer Technician Certification would be an asset.
6. Licensed or apprentice as a Heavy-Duty Technician would be an asset.
7. Knowledge of Heavy Truck Garage safety principles and behaviours.
8. Experience in fabrication, welding, and/or tailgate repairs is an asset.
9. Valid Class 5.
