Job description

Armour is currently hiring a Licensed or Apprentice Mechanic and Reefer or Trailer Technician in Moncton, New Brunswick.

What You’ll Do And Need

Licensed Mechanic

• Service and maintain our transport fleet of equipment as an Advanced Licensed/MasterTech mechanic.
• Support apprentices and journeymen with strong diagnostic skills and previous leadership experience.
• Work in a team environment within a fun, fast-paced, and supportive company culture.

Apprentice Mechanic

• Assist with the maintenance of our transport fleet of equipment.
• Work in a team environment within a fun, fast-paced, and supportive company culture.

Reefer Technician

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in transport and refrigeration required.
• Experience working on Carrier Reefers is an asset.
• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair truck and trailer refrigeration units.

Trailer Technician

• Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to manufacturers’ specifications.
• Document work performed and review work orders.
• Charge out all parts used for specific tasks.
• Licensed Commercial Trailer Technician certification is an asset.
• Licensed or apprentice Heavy-Duty Technician certification is an asset.
• Knowledge of heavy truck garage safety principles.
• Experience in fabrication, welding, and tailgate repairs is an asset.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
