Armour is currently hiring a Licensed or Apprentice Mechanic and Reefer or Trailer Technician in Moncton, New Brunswick.
What You’ll Do And Need
Licensed Mechanic
- Service and maintain our transport fleet of equipment as an Advanced Licensed/MasterTech mechanic.
- Support apprentices and journeymen with strong diagnostic skills and previous leadership experience.
- Work in a team environment within a fun, fast-paced, and supportive company culture.
Apprentice Mechanic
- Assist with the maintenance of our transport fleet of equipment.
- Work in a team environment within a fun, fast-paced, and supportive company culture.
Reefer Technician
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in transport and refrigeration required.
- Experience working on Carrier Reefers is an asset.
- Ability to work independently, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair truck and trailer refrigeration units.
Trailer Technician
- Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance on equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment to manufacturers’ specifications.
- Document work performed and review work orders.
- Charge out all parts used for specific tasks.
- Licensed Commercial Trailer Technician certification is an asset.
- Licensed or apprentice Heavy-Duty Technician certification is an asset.
- Knowledge of heavy truck garage safety principles.
- Experience in fabrication, welding, and tailgate repairs is an asset.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
