Job summary

The Miller Group is seeking a skilled truck & coach technician to service and maintain our fleet at 39 Comstock Rd, Scarborough, ON. You will perform annual safeties, diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical and powertrain systems, and ensure rigorous daily service documentation.

Safety comes first as you help shape decisions on repairs, with a strong emphasis on reliability and availability of equipment to support our operations in Ontario.

Qualifications

• Must hold 310T Truck & Coach Technician license.
• 310S / 421A considered an asset.
• Ability to diagnose and rectify results.
• Possess own set of tools.
• Ability to work some weekends, if required.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain all equipment, including annual safeties on heavy trucks and equipment.
• Maintain hydraulics, electrical and power train; service light vehicles as needed.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance and document daily service activities.
• Promote a safety-first culture and assist in decisions for outside repairs.

Day In the Life

You will be the backbone of our fleet, responsible for servicing and maintaining all of our equipment, Annual Safeties on heavy trucks and equipment, hydraulics, electrical and power train. This also includes light vehicles. Preventative and predictive maintenance will be important to stay on top of, as well as daily service documentation to ensure overall organization of the shop.

Safety will always be your number one priority as you promote, lead, and execute a safety-first culture for all employees, sub-contractors, and consultants. Your opinion will be valued as you assist in decision making for any outside repairs to the equipment as well as support for overall general shop maintenance. You will be an essential part of our team ensuring our equipment runs smoothly and efficiently, like a well-oiled machine.

Compensation Data

Targeting $43.00-48.00/hr
