Position Overview:

As a Mechanic, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of our fleet operations. You will work on a fleet of approximately 20 vehicles and maintain 50 pieces of landscape equipment. We value organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is essential, as is a commitment to honesty and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

Vehicle & Equipment Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a fleet of around 20 vehicles.
Maintain and repair small engines and landscape equipment to ensure they operate at peak performance.
Diagnose mechanical issues and execute timely repairs to minimize downtime.

Record Keeping:

Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work.
Track the usage and condition of all equipment and vehicles.
Manage a schedule for regular maintenance to prevent equipment failures.

Communication & Coordination:

Effectively communicate repair statuses and maintenance schedules with team members.
Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers for parts and specialized services.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures within the shop and yard.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a mechanic, with a background in both vehicle and small engine repair.
Exceptional organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
Ability to read and follow technical manuals and instructions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Reliable, self-motivated, and possessing a strong work ethic.
Commitment to honesty and integrity in all aspects of work.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
