Job summary

Location Val-d'Or is offering a flexible, part-time garage mechanic role for retirees or individuals on runs, totaling 24 hours per week. You will diagnose malfunctions, repair and replace parts on excavators and other site equipment, and ensure everything operates safely and to code.

You will also perform mobile repairs, assist with preventive maintenance, and help keep the garage clean while adhering to health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Determine equipment malfunctions using diagnostic tools
• Repair and replace parts on excavators, lifting equipment and other worksite equipment
• Assure that all equipment is functioning and up to code
• Utilize your expertise to find solutions to current and recurrent mechanical issues
• Carry out mobile repair services
• Contribute to the planning and preventive maintenance for various equipment
• Respect the procedures for occupational health and safety in the workplace
• Maintain the cleanliness of the garage
• All other tasks related to the successful running of the garage
