Job summary

Choices Market's Kitsilano location is seeking a part-time Meat Wrapper to provide service-oriented support and grow with the team. The role involves wrapping meat and fish, stocking displays, and engaging with customers in a fast-paced retail setting.

The ideal candidate must be willing to work in a cold environment, handle lifting up to 50 lbs, and stand all day. Benefits include a store discount and hands-on experience in a retail meat department.

Responsibilities

• Wrapping a variety of meat and fish cuts and putting them out for display.
• Ensuring shelves and displays are fully stocked and nicely presented.
• Rotating products and ensuring consistent high quality.
• Ensuring items on sale are well represented on shelves and in displays.
• Responding promptly and professionally to customer inquiries; and
• Cleaning retail areas and workspaces on a daily basis.

Choices Market's Kitsilano location currently has an opening for a service-oriented individual looking for a job with great growth potential! This is a part-time position. The ability and willingness to work in a cold environment is essential.

The Meat Wrapper’s responsibilities include:

• wrapping a variety of meat and fish cuts and putting them out for display;
• ensuring shelves and displays are fully stocked and nicely presented;
• rotating products and ensuring consistent high quality;
• ensuring items on sale are well represented on shelves and in displays;
• responding promptly and professionally to customer inquiries; and
• cleaning retail areas and workspaces on a daily basis.

The ideal employee for this position is:
